How Ignite Maxx Compares with Leading Weight-Loss Products
Ignite Maxx claims to increase metabolism and fat burning while decreasing appetite. The main ingredient in the formula is an extract of hot peppers, according to the product description, but the inclusion of 200 mg of caffeine has a greater impact than any hot pepper. The description references clinical studies, but no external links to published studies are listed on the official website for Ignite Maxx. We found four proven ingredients, but the extreme boost of energy associated with mega-doses of caffeine will likely cause negative side effects.
Chromium.
Proprietary Blend: Panax Ginseng Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Caffeine, Digestive Enzymes – Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Papain and Bromelain, High-Fucoxanthin Brown Seaweed, Raspberry Ketones, Capsicum Fruit Extract, Rhodiola Root Extract and Black Pepper.
Chromium is the first listed ingredient. Chromium helps control blood glucose, which may prevent hunger. When glucose levels fall below normal, the brain tells the stomach to grumble and the dieter craves simple sugars.
Ginseng is added as a natural energy booster. Green tea leaf is proven to boost metabolism. Green tea typically contains EGCG and caffeine, but the standardization rates of these elements are not listed on the Ignite Maxx label. Caffeine is the major player in Ignite Maxx. There are 200 mg per serving and that is the same amount used to fend off sleep with over the counter medications. Most dieters will feel negative side effects from taking 200 mg of caffeine in one dose. Some dieters that drink coffee every day still feel nauseous and jittery after taking a mega-dose of caffeine.
Digestive enzymes help break down food. While digestive enzymes do not promote weight loss, they do help prepare for for absorption. The more food is broken down, the faster the body can absorb nutrients and vitamins.
Ignite Maxx will increase heart rate and metabolism, but this reaction comes at a cost. The dieter will feel increased heart rate and could experience increased blood pressure. Caffeine is known to cause nausea, vomiting, jitters, shakes and sleeplessness for up to 12 hours after a mega-dose like 200 mg. With proven weight loss ingredients like chromium and green tea, the formula is designed to increase weight loss, but most dieters will not be able to get passed the negative reaction to caffeine and will thus drop off the supplement before losing any weight.
