The warmer weather makes it more essential to stay hydrated but if you can’t face another glass of water try munching on slices of cucumber. Despite the recent scare, Irish cucumbers are OK.
The flesh of cucumbers is primarily made up of water but also contains vitamin C and caffeic acid, both of which help soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling.
Make your glass of water more exciting by tearing up some fresh mint leaves and leave to steep in water before drinking. A slice of lemon or lime also makes it more appetising.
